Sabre Claris combines the benefits of remote phosphor with a unique delivery system, to give specifiers a highly durable, cost-effective, exterior LED luminaire that delivers the look and feel of a fluorescent fixture, yet delivers efficiencies of over 60% compared to T8 fluorescent equivalents.

Ideal for use as an exterior light source, in car parks, hotel and office service areas and residential public spaces. The Sabre Claris luminaire can also be used within interior spaces such as industrial units, sports centre corridors and processing plants.

8point3 LED’s Sabre Claris uses patented, award-winning technology to deliver high quality white light that is uniform, glare free and has a diffuse luminance and appearance, even when dimmed. With a standard colour temperature of 4,000k (other CCTs available on request) and a range of lumen packages, the Sabre Claris also has excellent colour rendering (80+ CRI) and consistency (3 SDCM) and delivers high lumen maintenance (L70) over its 100,000 hour life.

RARITAN TWP. — The Hunterdon Orthopaedic Institute recently unveiled its 33,000-square-foot flagship facility on the Hunterdon Medical Center campus. After years of planning and 15 months of construction, the new medical office facility is now fully operational.

This state-of-the-art musculoskeletal facility features two instant digital X-ray units; an open-air MRI scanner; more than 40 spacious, wired exam rooms; a fluoroscopy suite for in-office, same-day spine and hip injections; and solar and geothermal power.

The green design features 43 geothermal heat pumps with 56 wells, 360 solar panels, a decoupled ventilation system, abundant LED lighting, daylight harvesting and energy-saving technology. LED lighting uses 50 percent less power than fluorescent lighting. The building features plenty of windows and skylights and lights that dim automatically as ambient light increases. “Watt stoppers” turn lights on and off automatically as staff enter and leave rooms.
