Over 200,000 fluorescent lights are being recalled, because they could cause a fire. The recall affects about 222,000 of the Commercial Electric brand basic hanging shop lights that use two, 48-inch, two-pin, T8, fluorescent lamps.

The lamp sockets can allow loose connections and pose a risk of an electrical arc or fire risk.

There have been 888 reports of incidents, including 328 units catching on fire. No injuries have been reported.

The affected models were sold at Home Depot from August 2013 through March 2014. Affected units have model number CESL401-06 and SKU number 201-462 printed on a white label on the top of the fixture.

For more information, call Cordelia Lighting at 800-345-0542, extension 3001 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT Monday through Friday.
